  3. Cahill Diner: Great prices in an authentic diner setting make Cahill Diner probably the best spot for breakfast in Inver Grove Heights, though it’s great for the rest of the day as well.
  4. Tailan Carry Out: Tailan serves some of the best Chinese food in the suburbs, together with fast service and very cheap prices. The low-key atmosphere makes it a great place to keep coming back to.

  1. AMC Showplace 16: The local movie theatre also happens to be the cleanest and most professional movie theatre east of St. Paul. But it also has rather steep ticket prices, though.
  2. The Water Park of America: America’s biggest indoor water park soars almost 100 feet above the Minneapolis-St. Paul skyline and features a wave pool, a flow riding simulator, a ten-story high and mile-long family raft ride, and, for those looking for relaxation rather than adventure, a spa and restaurants as well.

  5. Drkula’s Bowl: Drkula’s is a family-owned bowling center and is always bustling with bowlers and people at the pub-style restaurant. It’s a great spot for groups and family fun.

  1. Skyview Park: Skyview Park is Inver Grove Height’s home for playgrounds, baseball and softball fields, lighted tennis courts, and also offers a lighted skating rink with attached warming house, soccer fields, and more.
  2. Inver Wood Golf Course: The local golf course is the southeast metro’s premier golf facility, suitable for golfers of all levels. With 27 holes on rolling, wooded terrain, the course offers something for both beginners and experts.
  3. Lions Park is home to some of the best fishing, public or private, in Inver Grove Heights. In addition to the fishing pier, Lions Park is home to a playground, a picnic shelter, and a horseshoe pit.

Inver Grove Parks and Lakes

 

Inver Grove is home to 18 total parks, in addition to its community center (which is home to a pool, gym, turf center, and ice rink), and several other facilities. Some of the parks within the Inver Grove Heights area include the following:

 

  • Skyview Park is home to a playground, baseball and softball fields, a lighted tennis court, a lighted skating rink with attached warming house, soccer fields, and more.
  • Lions Park is home to some of the best fishing, public or private, in Inver Grove Heights. In addition to the fishing pier, Lions Park is home to a playground, a picnic shelter, and a horseshoe pit.
  • South Valley Park is a 93 acre park home to 6,840 feet of trails. There are grills, picnic tables, and a picnic shelter for use, as well as a pleasure skating rink and baseball/softball fields.
